A Teacup Full of Stories

Hi there. I have a strange affinity for stars at the moment, and decided to write this poem – I hope you like it!

Starlight

Come with me;

For I am chasing stars tonight. Feel

Your heart beat in your chest,

Your hand held tight in mine.

Let us find the backstreets and the corners

Where the starlight falls. Let us

Make starlight in our eyes

When our bodies call.

Let my fingers trace

Constellations in your skin, and,

Please,

Help me let the starlight in.
