Dust: A Poem

Hi there, sorry for the late post, but I finished my mock exams today, woo! Here’s a little something I wrote a little while ago, I should be back to writing some new stuff tomorrow.

Thick, carpeting dust,

Preserving finger trails of memories

And thoughts whispered to empty rooms.

Giving substance to sunlight,

Dancing past curtainless windows and abandoned floors,

Settling in the cracks of a past life.

Dampening soft noises,

To an echoless quiet, devoid of harsh,

Unfeeling sounds.

Storing stories, unfound.
