Hold Me Tightly: A Poem

Hi there! Please enjoy this short little poem I wrote this evening – I’ve spent most of the day trying to plan the novel I want to write one day so this has been a little rushed I’m afraid.

Hold me closely;

For I am held together with nought

But a thread, tying

Me to you to

Myself again, that

With the slightest tug could unravel

My shaking heart and spill

All my sorrows tumbling out;

Scattered so.

So hold me tight

And don’t let go.
