A Teacup Full of Stories

Hi there! Sometimes it’s sad when you don’t get to see people for a while, but then again it’s useful when you can exploit it for poetry! (I’m joking) I hope you enjoy this little piece.

I know

That you’re a long way away, that

I’m not going to see you today, or

Tomorrow, or

The next day, and I know it gets

Lonely;

But I want you

To look at the view, and

Not feel blue; because someday,

Soon, I’ll be there

With you

Too; and we can

Share smiles and sunsets and the

Touch of a hand, and today

Is one day closer

To the days that we’ve planned

Together;

So smile for me, at the beauty

You see,

And I’ll smile too,

Thinking of you.
