Hi there! Sorry for the lack of posts over the last two days, I had an action-packed weekend and was pretty tired so didn’t get around to writing. Should be back to posting every day now though. Anyway, here’s a poem that I wrote this evening that I hope you enjoy.
Find me
Like a melody,
Somewhere underneath
Your dreams, undercurrent of a stream
Of conscious thoughts that
Lingers in the corners, fleeting
As sunlight on the hills
Between the clouds, quiet
As the whisper of the leaves
In the gentlest sighing of the breeze,
Soft as the grass underneath your feet;
Brushing sigh of a fleeting half thought
That brings a smile to your lips,
And gone, like
A dream
On a summers’ day.
