Hi there! It’a been a week since I last published on here, due to exams, celebrating after exams, and then moving back from uni, and then working a full day yesterday (and then sleeping for 12 hours). I’m going to try and post regularly over the summer, so we’ll see how that goes!
I hope you enjoy this little poem that I wrote this evening. I’ve just put some fairy lights up on my bookshelves and they caught my attention whilst I was looking around for inspiration. I just put all my uni books on the shelves and they’re jam-packed!

Staring at my fairy lights,
Peacock feathers and
Ornamental postcards,
I wonder;
Can we all be explained
By a sum of cliches,
Or is there something inside
That they’re all trying to hide?
