Ballet shoes echo falling leaves

Against grey skies, silver breeze

Beneath a hazy morning breath;

Puffing dragon’s smoke

Through a pirouette,

Fingers outstretched in a dewy battle

Against the cold,

A chill whisper

Crawling over skin;

Yet that emanates

From a place within.
